Cosmetology

Cosmetology is a three-year program designed to train students to learn a variety of services related to the care and beautification of the hair, skin, and nails.  Instruction includes training in shampooing, haircuts, manicures, rinses and scalp treatments, hair styling, hair coloring, permanent waving, hair pressing and chemical hair relaxing, hair braiding and weaving, and facials and massaging.   Students are also taught salesmanship, trade mathematics, bacteriology, anatomy, hygiene, sanitation, and preparation for State Board Licensing examination upon graduation.
